Shannon received her BA in Art History from the University of Northern Iowa in 1999 and her MA in Art History, specializing in ancient art, from The University of Iowa in 2003. She is working on a second Master's degree in Library and Information Science, also from The University of Iowa, which she expects to complete in 2005. Shannon has worked in the Office of Visual Materials since the fall of 2000.
