 | Julia Leonard received a BA from Vassar College and an MFA in Design & a Graduate Certificate in Book Arts from the University of Iowa. She was an artist-in-residence in Book Arts for three years at the Penland School of Craft. She shows her work nationally in juried art shows and galleries. Her work is in collections including the Ruth & Marvin Sackner Archives of Concrete & Visual Poetry, Univ. of Delaware, Ringling School of Art & Design, & Univ. of Iowa. In 2004, she published a chapter on the relationship between text and image in book works.
